Latium layouts
Latium is the Roman home region, and it is where the public layout library is deepest. anno-companion splits the files into residential, production, and “max” packs. Exact tile counts are not printed on those cards, so this page does not invent footprints.
Housing
Tier 1 blocks exist as a basic grid, a paved-road upgrade, and a 45-degree grid the author calls hand-drawn and slightly inconsistent. Tier 2 can sit on dirt roads, but the corners lose service coverage. Paved roads cover those corners. The paved and concrete versions only make sense after those researches exist, so a brand-new Liberti island should start on the basic file.
Production packs
The production set names timber, tiles, concrete, marble, bread, garum, leather, lard, sandals, soap, amphorae, olive oil, wine, honey, and lavender. Sheets include a warehouse. Some add Vigiles or a Custodia to offset the fire or happiness hit from bakeries, garum works, and renderers. Inputs that need a river slot or a mountain stay outside the stamp.
Update 3.0 can store any of these as a stamp. The ratios themselves are on the production page. A Latium block from 2025 still describes the buildings. It does not describe the higher consumption on a new 3.0 save.
Questions
Can I drop a Tier 2 Latium block on day one?
No. The paved and concrete variants assume those unlocks. Use the basic Tier 1 file until then.
Do the files include clay and limestone?
Often no. Those inputs are called out as external, on a river or a deposit.
