What this means for your game
Commuter Pier is a mod, not a base-game building. On 6 Nov 2026 the mod.io page showed 962 subscribers, 2,311 total downloads, and file version 4.1.0, with the source capture showing “3mo 16d” as the relative update age. Nexus showed a different build: version 3.0.0 dated 23 Jul 2026, 738 unique downloads and 881 total. The two version numbers are not a typo I should merge. The mod’s own page is the place that states the workforce-sharing rule and the province limits. This guide does not rehost the file. Install it with the same mods-folder steps as any other mod, and use the mismatch dialog to identify any version conflict after an update.
Changes noted for version 4.1.0 Fixed incorrect workforce loading on game load; one building click re-applies workforce to every island., 3.0.0 Automatic worker calculation when needed.
