The Hippodrome
The Hippodrome launched 20 Aug 2026 at $7.99. It is a Latium marvel unlocked with Patricians, and its effect covers the whole island. I am keeping a disagreement in the stage count instead of picking a winner.

Because the counts disagree, this page does not print “you need N granite.” The quantity cells stay empty.
Races
Three race types appear in the Ubisoft piece: Amateur with 4 drivers, Classic Quadriga with 6, and Imperial with 8. The last two unlock through Splendor. Any specialist on the island can drive, and specialists carry racing attributes. Update 2.0 lets a race repeat automatically. You can spend one extra good to raise the Splendor reward, and a finished race permanently raises that specialist’s racing attributes.
Splendor ranks also give newly recruited cavalry attack and defense, and they add a Horses need for Equites and Patricians.

How many stages does the Hippodrome have?
Ubisoft’s article groups the work into three. Steam’s store text says five. Both stay on the page.
Who can race?
Any specialist already on the island. Racing attributes improve permanently after events.
