Resident tiers
Attracting Equites is the Latium form of a rule that also covers Nobles and Aldermen. Polygon’s tier-3 article says the house upgrades when the current tier’s categories are met, and that tier 2 to tier 3 specifically needs a second island’s household raw goods.
Latium tier 3 is the Eques. Albion’s Roman tier 3 is the Noble. Albion’s Celtic tier 3 is the Alderman. At Albion tier 2 you pick Mercator or Smith, and the other line stays locked until tier 3. A Roman stamp will not complete a Celtic house.
After the upgrade, the new categories are added on top of the old ones. Cutting bread because the house “moved on” drops the lower bar and the upgrade reverses. There is no official hidden attractiveness score in the two sources, so I am not printing one.
Questions
Why won’t Plebeians become Equites?
Check the four categories, then check whether resin, olive, and the other household inputs exist on a second island.
Can I switch Albion culture later?
The tier guide says the other branch stays locked until tier 3.
