What this means for your game
The penteconter is the small Latium warship people search because a campaign step asks for one and because a rope-and-sail prerequisite stalls the shipyard. The military table gives it 500 hit points, speed 4.77, two module slots, a cost of 1,500 denarii plus 15 timber, 10 rope and 10 sails, a five-minute build, and upkeep of 15 denarii plus 3 Liberti. GameRant instead says three slots, of which two accept an archer or an oar. Both counts stay. Update 3.0 fixed a bug that classified the flagship as a penteconter. That is a label fix, not a change to these stats. You still need a shipyard.
Changes noted for version 3.0 Fixed Flagship being counted as a Penteconter in the Fleet Object Menu.
