Save folder
Two community pages agree on the Documents folder and disagree on whether you must open an accounts directory inside it. I am printing both. There is no official help article in the stack that names the path, so treat the folder you see on disk as the authority.
Paths people posted
- C:\Users\<name>\Documents\Anno 117 - Pax Romana
- The 360game article continues into an accounts folder under that path.
Ctrl+S is the manual save. Autosave interval is an option. A Steam thread says the Ubisoft+ edition’s autosave may ignore the interval you set, so do not rely on it alone. If the save button is grey and the menu only offers Load, the same thread’s generic advice is to verify files, check that Documents is writable, and pause OneDrive if it is locking the folder. Those last three are generic PC steps. They are not quoted from an Ubisoft 117 article.
Back up by copying the whole folder while the game is closed. The save-editing page stops at that copy. It does not explain how to rewrite a save.
Questions
Where are Anno 117 saves on PC?
Documents\Anno 117 - Pax Romana, with a possible accounts subfolder. Two community sources.
Why does autosave skip?
A Steam thread reports Ubisoft+ autosave ignoring the chosen interval. Use Ctrl+S as well.
