Dawn of the Delta

Dawn of the Delta, Erwachen des Deltas in German, launched on 5 Nov 2026 at $24.99 on Steam US. It is the third and largest Year 1 gameplay pack. You can start a new game in Aegyptus or attach the province to a save you already have.

Three belts of land

Ubisoft’s news post splits Aegyptus into Drylands, Farmlands, and Floodplains. Drylands need basins and a noria before farms work. Farmlands along the bank suit date farms but trees eat space. Floodplains grow geese, beads, and reeds, and they connect with mud roads. You cannot drain them the way Albion marshes drain.

Shemu and Akhet

Shemu lasts about two hours of play with the river in its bed. Floodplain production buildings then gain one extra ton per cycle. Akhet, also about two hours, floods those plains: floodplain production drops to 25 percent, the city takes a health penalty, and fire safety rises. A layout that puts every farm on the floodplain will stall twice a session.

People and goods

Population forks after Threshers. The Egyptian line goes Potters then Chanters. The Greco-Roman line goes Scribes then Gymnasiarchs. Ubisoft’s goods list includes dates, porridge, usekh collars, and tunics for Threshers; stuffed goose, beer, talismans, oil lamps, shenti, and kohl for Potters; lotus tea, kahk, sistrum rattles, kalasiris, and perfumed oil for Chanters. Scribes want bread, cheese, scribing sets, olive oil, sandals, and soap. Gymnasiarchs want exotic appetizers, an ivory casket, and bathing milk.

Gods, ships, pyramid

Sobek’s exaltation adds fire safety and a dovecote. Isis-Bastet adds happiness, health, a sphinx shrine, and a 50 percent festival bonus. Thoth Trismegistus adds knowledge, Books of Thoth that raise library output 20 percent, and a 30 percent cut to buying or rerolling specialists. Two river ship types, kumatic archers, and dromedarii arrive with the pack. A sector project rebuilds a pyramid in four stages. The story names Nymphaeus’s death, Epistrategos Heron, the rival Decimus, and the raider Kandis of Kashta.
