Update 3.0
Update 3.0 went live on 5 Nov 2026 at 10:00 UTC (11:00 CET) on every platform, the same morning as Dawn of the Delta. The change that breaks old guides is consumption: new games eat more goods. Saves you already had keep the previous rates.
Stamps
The copy tool is now a stamp. You can save a housing or production block, name it, pick an icon, and file it in a folder. On PC you can hand the stamp file to someone else. Every stamp you have built shows up in the build menu. AnnoStamps’ how-to page still describes Anno 1800 paths, so use the stamps page here before following that one.
Statistics and tasks
The statistics screen gains a Storage tab (stock, passive and active trade, stock swings) and a tab for specialists you own or have not seen, with where they come from. Tasks can be hidden. Old saves get a prompt about the new tools the first time you load them.
Balance
Anno Union says consumption is higher overall, starting money is higher, and a new “very high” difficulty sits about 75 percent above normal consumption. They do not publish a per-good table. I will not invent one. The higher rates do not rewrite existing saves.
Fixes worth knowing
- Crash on Expired Notes, idle crash in versus multiplayer, crash after loading, clash between manual and auto saves.
- PS5 duplicate save configuration, Xbox crash while joining multiplayer.
- Flagship counted as a Penteconter, Gaze at Volcano aimed at the wrong ship, Hippodrome achievement not counting.
- Mod mismatch dialog names the specific mods; multiplayer also checks sub-mods.
Questions
Do I need a new save for the new consumption?
Existing saves keep old consumption. New games, including very high difficulty, use the new rates.
Where is stamp mode?
The old copy tool icon is now a stamp. Details are on the stamps page.
