Anno 117 platforms
Anno 117: Pax Romana has native builds for Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Steam platform flags I read list macOS and Linux as unavailable. Switch and phones are not in the store lineup.
| Platform | Native? | Notes | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Windows | Yes | SSD and AVX2 required | 2 sources |
| PlayStation 5 | Yes | Free Weekend 5–9 Nov 2026 | 2 sources |
| Xbox Series X|S | Yes | Free Play Days, not a Game Pass listing | 2 sources |
| Steam Deck | No | Deck Playable via Proton, one review site | 1 source |
| Mac | No | Cloud PC is the published workaround | 2 sources |
| Switch / mobile | No | No store page | 2 sources |
GeForce NOW and similar cloud PCs still need you to own a copy. They are not a free platform and not something this site can embed.
Frame-rate claims for consoles are thin. PS5ProGames published a 4K / 30 reading for PS5, and that is one outside analysis, not a Digital Foundry piece. I leave Xbox frame numbers blank because Complete Xbox described pacing without a figure.
Questions
Is Anno 117 on Game Pass?
As of 6 Nov 2026 I found a Free Play Days weekend, not a Game Pass announcement.
Does it run on Linux?
Steam’s platform list says no native Linux build. Steam Deck uses Proton, which is a compatibility layer, not a native port.
