Anno 117 on PS5
PlayStation 5 has a native Anno 117 client. Ubisoft included it in the 5–9 Nov 2026 Free Weekend, and saves stay on the Ubisoft account if you buy later. This page separates that store fact from the one performance article I could find.
Performance, one analysis
PS5ProGames says the game tops out at 4K and 30 fps. They also say a PS5 Pro keeps the same resolution and frame rate while raising RTGI, reflections, and some local-light quality. Nobody else in my stack published a matching capture, so the status on that row is one source.
Patch 3.0 on PS5
Anno Union’s Update 3.0 notes say the first time a PS5 joined an in-progress multiplayer session it could duplicate the save configuration, and that case is fixed. The same notes say the PS5 “Saved Data” wording was aligned. Those are bugfix claims from the patch list, not a promise that every crash is gone.
Controls
The client supports a controller. First-person view, from Polygon’s control page, uses a d-pad sequence plus the right-side button, and Circle (held) leaves that view. I repeat the sequence on the camera page so this one can stay about stability and the store.
Questions
Does PS5 Pro run Anno 117 faster?
PS5ProGames says resolution and frame rate match the base PS5, with higher ray-traced lighting quality. That is one source.
Are PS5 crashes fixed?
Update 3.0 lists a duplicate save-configuration bug when first joining multiplayer. Other crash steps were not published.
